The German Olympic team, playing for Tin Man, won the BMTG 2010 Winter Olympic Medal Count competition, where BMTG participants had the country from their ancestry playing for them. It is Tin Man Germany's third consecutive medal count win. As usual the Ukraine Brothers alternate between Ukraine and Ireland, with 2010 Winter Ukraine going to White Russian and 2010 Winter Ireland going to Brother Nature.

Amy Williams, Great Britain - Gold - Skeleton |
It's impressive because it's skeleton, but she won using a controversial helmet with ridges on it that may have given her an unfair advantage.

Evgeni Plushenko, Russia - Silver - Figure Skating |
Bob de Jong, Netherlands - Bronze - Speed Skaking - 10,000m |
Francois-Louis Tremblay, Canada - Bronze - Short Track - 500m |
Three way tie. Evgeni Plushenko's silver because of his sour grapes after not winning the gold, a la Matt Leinart after losing to Texas in the 2006 Rose Bowl. Bob de Jong's bronze because Sven Kramer was disqualified after his coach implored him to skate in the wrong lane during his race when he was about to get the gold medal and set a world record. Plus the name Bob de Jong sounds fake. And Francois-Louis Tremblay's bronze because he was elevated from fourth after Apollo Ohno was given a highly questionable disqualification, while the gold medalist finished backwards and the silver medalist finished on his side.

Julia Mancuso, USA - Silver - Alpine Skiing - Women's Super Combined |
Was not seen as a serious medal favorite because she had not been on a World Cup podium in two years, coming back from hip surgery and back problems.

Martins Dukurs, Latvia - Silver - Skeleton |
Because it's skeleton and the Canadian who won gold seems too full of himself.

China - Short Track - 3,000m Relay |
The South Koreans, who finished first, were disqualified in a highly questionable ruling. Plus their athletes are probably underage, just like the gymnastics team in the 2008 Summer Olympics.

Finland - Bronze - Hockey |
The bronze medal game was a forgotten game with Canada and USA playing for gold. Finland wasn't a bad team, but they lost to the United States 6 to 1 and lost to Sweden 3 to 0. Teams they beat: Belarus, Germany, Czech Republic and Slovakia. They did not face Canada or Russia.

Sweden - Silver - Cross Country - Team Sprint |

United States - Silver - Hockey |
Tie. USA gold in bobsled breaks 62 year gold medal drought in the sport usually dominated by the Germans. USA silver in hockey after an impressive run starting with beating the heavily favored Canada team in qualifying and advancing all the way to the gold medal game for a rematch with Canada.
