The German Olympic team, playing for Tin Man, won the BMTG 2008 Summer Olympic Medal Count competition, where BMTG participants had the country from their ancestry playing for them. As usual the Ukraine Brothers alternate between Ukraine and Ireland, with 2008 Summer Ukraine going to Brother Nature and 2008 Summer Ireland going to White Russian.

The sanctions on Albuquerque Tom (France) have stopped, however there is a -9 carryover from 2006 that is factored in to his medal count this year.
