Official Death List Rules
For each of the 50 names on the list, choose whether or not you think that person will still be alive after July 2012. If you correctly predict that the person lives you get 75 points. If you correctly predict that the person dies you get 75 points.
Provide the death date (year, month, day) for each person you think will die by the end of July 2012. You receive additional points for each part of the date you are correct about. For the correct year you get 100 points, for the month, you get 150 points, and for the correct day you get 300 points.
If you are correct on two date points, you get the following bonus instead: year and month = 500, year and day = 800, month and day = 900. For example, if you predict that Keith Richards dies on March 1, 2009 and he dies on March 20, 2009 you would receive 550 total points for Keith Richards:
75 (for the death) + (500 (for the month and year combo) = 575
If you are correct on three date points you 1,650 points bonus plus 75 for the death.
Any death that is the result of suicide is worth 75 bonus points.
Any death that is the result of murder is worth 100 bonus points.
Any death that is considered a murder-suicide is worth 500 bonus points.
Entry fee is 6,250 Guinean Franc - winner takes all.
