Official Death List Rules
For each of the 50 names on the list, choose whether or not you think that person will still be alive after July 2007. If you correctly predict that the person lives you get 25 points. If you correctly predict that the person dies you get 50 points.
Provide the death date (year, month, day) for each person you think will die by the end of July 2007. You receive additional points for each part of the date you are correct about. For the correct year you get 100 points, for the month, you get 150 points, and for the correct day you get 300 points.
If you are correct on two date points, add the point totals for the two points and double it for your bonus. For example, if you predict that Abe Vigoda dies on March 1, 2006 and he dies on March 20, 2006 you would receive 550 total points for Abe Vigoda:
50 (for the death) + (100 (for the year) + 150 (for the month)) x 2 (for having two date points) = 550
If you are correct on three date points you add the totals for each and triple it (1,650 points) plus 50 for the death.
